The cleaning, the laundry and the yard — done properly, claimed properly.
0120 Household tasks
House cleaning, laundry and yard maintenance for participants whose plan funds household tasks, either alongside personal care or on its own.
Participants whose plan funds household tasks, whether alongside personal care or on its own.
Household tasks are the least glamorous thing we do and one of the most requested. A clean kitchen and clothes that are washed on time are not extras — for a lot of participants they are the difference between a home that works and a home that is quietly getting away from them. We deliver household tasks as a service in its own right, and we bill them as their own line so you can see exactly what you paid for.
What we provide
House cleaning — kitchen, bathroom, floors, the regular reset that keeps a home liveable
Laundry and linen — washing, drying, folding, bed changes
Yard and outdoor maintenance — lawns, edges, clearing paths, keeping access safe
Seasonal and one-off work — a deep clean before an inspection, clearing out after a hospital stay, getting on top of a backlog
Household tasks alongside personal care — where a worker is already there for personal care, light cleaning and laundry can be done in the same visit and claimed as a separate line
Workers who know the house — the same person, so nobody has to explain where things go every fortnight
Who it's for
A participant whose plan funds household tasks and who wants a regular, reliable service rather than a rotating cleaner
A participant recovering after hospital, where the house got away from them and the backlog is the thing standing in the way
A family carer already doing the personal care who needs the domestic load taken off them
What makes us different
This is a service where the ordinary things matter: turning up when we said, doing the job properly, and putting things back where they live. We staff it with the same people each visit for the same reason we do everywhere else — a participant should not have to explain their own kitchen every fortnight. And because we are often already in the home for personal care, we can usually cover both without sending two different people on two different days.
How it usually unfolds
A short call to work out what the plan funds and what the house actually needs, then a visit to walk through it. We agree a scope and a frequency in writing so there is no drift, and we bill household tasks as their own line so it is always clear what was cleaning and what was care. If the scope needs to change, we ask first.
