HOW WE STARTED
Ten years in the system told Chloe what was missing.

"We started CCSS because more care, more attention, and more compassion shouldn't be rare." — Chloe Pili-Gaitau
Chloe Pili-Gaitau spent more than a decade in aged care before starting CCSS. She saw the rosters that rotated three new faces through a participant's home in a fortnight, the plans written in language no family could read, and the quiet moments where someone just needed a person who knew their name. In 2022, she stopped working around it and started something built to fix it.
Dennis Pili-Gaitau brought twenty years of health and wellness experience, a professional rugby career, and an accredited Strength and Conditioning credential to the same kitchen table. His belief that movement is medicine became the spine of our Exercise Physiology and Therapeutic Support work — not gym sessions, but the kind of practical, body-aware care that helps people sit longer, walk further, and get back to the things they used to do without thinking.
The family thread is not decoration. It's how we run the place. Workers are matched to participants on personality and preference before postcode. Families are kept in the loop the way our own family would expect — directly, in plain English, with faith and language considered rather than ignored. When a participant says aiga or whānau, the person on the other side of the conversation knows what that means and what it asks of us.
What comes out of all of that is a short promise. Small, matched teams, wherever possible. Plain English on every email, plan, and invoice. No last-minute surprises, no jargon dumps, no chasing. The boring parts done properly so the important parts have room to happen.

WHAT YOU CAN COUNT ON
Small, matched teams
Support workers carefully matched to the participant’s personality, goals and household. Wherever possible it’s the same small team, so nobody is re-explaining their story to a stranger on a Tuesday.
Plain English, every time
Plans, emails, and invoices written so a participant, a parent, and a discharge planner all read the same thing. No jargon dumps, no acronym soup, no surprises at the end of the month.
Care that fits how you live
Cultural background, faith, language, and family structure are part of the plan, not a tick box. Family-led and multicultural — built to honour whoever walks through the door.
What we don’t do
We would rather tell you this up front than take a referral we cannot do properly.
We are not a specialist behaviour support provider. We do not write functional behaviour assessments or behaviour support plans, and we are not registered to use regulated restrictive practices. Where a participant already has a behaviour support plan written by an NDIS behaviour support practitioner, our workers can be trained in it and support it consistently — but the plan itself needs a provider registered for specialist positive behaviour support, and we will help you find one.
We do not provide support coordination. If you need a coordinator, we can point you to good ones.
And if what you need sits outside what we are registered for, we will say so on the first call rather than the third.

Have a participant in mind? Let's talk this week.
Referrers get a same-week response. Participants and families get a real conversation, not a form letter. Either way, you reach a person.
